Christmas Present Appeal 2010 |
|
|
We are pleased to launch this year's TACC Christmas present appeal - we're asking all Scotland fans to buy one extra present this year, for a disadvantaged child in their area. We've asked the children cared for by Aberlour Child Care Trust to tell us what they'd like, and we've posted this list of presents on our website. None cost more than £20, so PLEASE go that extra mile this Christmas.
Aberlour supports children with disabilities, those affected by parental drug and alcohol use, and those with social, educational, emotional and behavioural difficulties, including children who run away from home. Last year the Tartan Army showed their generosity and donated over £4,000. TACC topped up this donation to £8,500!
Please be generous once again and spread the word by sending this email onto family and friends.
Just one extra present can make a real difference this Christmas

Craig Levein helps to launch the Kiltwalk 2011
TACC Patron Craig Levein took time out to spend an afternoon at Robin House Hospice, Balloch.
The Scotland manager spent several hours meeting the children, parents and staff at CHAS, and touring the facilities near Loch Lomond.
He also used the occasion to offer his support for the TACC Kiltwalk 2011, which takes place on Sunday 10th April.
TACC have pledged 10% of the Kiltwalk proceeds to CHAS, an amazing charity supporting children with life-shortening conditions.
And to kick off the partnership and the Kiltwalk, TACC asked Craig to present a £5,000 donation to Roslyn Neely of CHAS.
The money was raised at TACC's Charity Ball at the Balmoral Hotel in August.
