Hopscotch are an amazing small charity based in the Highlands which provides FREE respite breaks for Scotland's most disadvantaged children.

Groups of 12 children visit them at Ardvullin for a week of outdoor activities such as horse riding and canoing. The children are mostly around 11 years old and have not been on a holiday before. They leave Ardvullin with an increased ability to address their own problems and overcome the hurdles they face in their everyday lives.

In 2010 TACC presented a grant of £6,500 to Hopscotch towards the cost of a new kitchen.

This money was raised by Chris Turner and his team of Kiltwalkers, who trecked 26 miles from Glen Coe to the summit of Ben Nevis, and nominated Hopscotch to receive 50%!

And in April 2011 TACC were delighted to present a further grant of £10,000...to fund 4 weeks worth of activities.

This money was raised by the main Kiltwalk event in 2010.
