What TACC Does Print E-mail

What the Tartan Army Children's Charity does is pretty simple.

We spend all year raising as much money as possible to support disadvantaged children in Scotland and in the countries we visit to watch Scotland play.

Selling t-shirts, kilts and badges, organising events, raffles and auctions and the TACC Lottery, and encouraging and helping fans to organise their own club events on behalf of TACC.

On behalf of Scotland's football supporters we then make grants to desperate children's homes and projects, take children to their first Scotland matches, and generally try to brighten up the lives of children who need it the most.

Objectives

Trying to bring some happiness to disadvantaged children wherever Scotland play, home or away.

As far as we are able we will endeavour to support disadvantaged children in Scotland, and to make a substantial donation as often as possible to disadvantaged children in countries visited by the supporters of Scotland’s national football team.

We will endeavour to arrange activities and support for individual children and/or children’s charities. We will also donate monetary and other gifts to children's institutions (orphanages, hospitals, special needs schools) or individual children, according to their requirements. This may include the funding of specified activities, clothes, toys, educational equipment, medical items etc

We will in all ways act in a way that enhances the reputation of the Tartan Army.

To borrow some wise words… wherever it takes us, whatever it takes.
