TACC Patron Print E-mail

On Friday 25 May 2018 Scotland Women's National Team head coach Shelley Kerr was named as the official patron of the Tartan Army Children's Charity (TACC).

Shelley will take time out of her schedule throughout the year to support the children, becoming involved in various activities and events to raise money for the charity.

TACC Chair, Derek Clark said: "We are delighted to have Shelley Kerr as our official patron.  Shelley is a role model for everyone in the game having been a figurehead for the women's game in Scotland and also managing in the men's game.  Women's football is growing massively in Scotland and it'll be great to have her as part of the organisation and involved in our plans going forward."

Scotland Women's Head Coach Shelley Kerr said: "The work the Tartan Army Children's Charity do is admirable and I am proud to be an ambassador for them as their official patron.  The support the fans provide to the Scotland team's at home and abroad is world renowned and the work done by TACC is equally as impressive.  I am looking forward to being involved in forthcoming events and helping drive the charity forward as they continue to raise money for a worthy cause."
