Join TACC at the first ever TACC Footgolf tournament and help to raise money for disadvantaged children in Scotland.
Footgolf is a mix between football and golf, the rules are similar to golf but you use a football instead of a club and golf ball! It's brilliant fun and can be played by young & old alike, male or female and all fitness levels.
The day will consist of the following:
1. Arrive at Palacerigg Golf centre at 10am you will then be given a brief introduction to the game and the rules. You will be given your football (bring your own if you can!), your scorecards and your tee time.
2. Take advantage of the beautiful sunny day (hopefully!) and try your hand at the longest drive competition.
3. Arrive at the tee at your alloted time and enjoy an amazing 18 hole round of Footgolf.
4. Hand in your scorecards at the end of the round and enjoy a free Pint (or soft drink) and free burger & fries in the clubhouse.
5. Once all the competitors have completed their round the top 3 will be announced with the winner taking home the coveted TACC Footgolf Challenge cup!!
There will also be the chance to win some signed Scotland memorabilia in our raffle and there may even be some special guests.
If you want to play as a group put the names into the comments section on the shop and we'll sort it out.
Dresscode: No football colours, however Scotland tops / strips are ok on the course. Shorts are ok to wear and of course kilts are encouraged but not compulsory! Also, No blades or studs, stick to your gazelles or AstroTurf trainers! Argyle socks are looked on favourably too :-)

42 in 42 - 42 Stadiums in 42 Hours
On Friday 25 until Sunday 27 May six hardy lads, Kenny Thom, Tony Mulloy, Rod Lawman, Stewart Ingram, John Cruden, Willie Hepburn & Iain Wood, visited all 42 SPFL stadiums in 42 hours to raise money for three charities. One of the charities they were raising funds for was TACC.
On Saturday 14 July two of our trustees, Doreen and Sam were invited to the 42 in 42 awards night to be presented with a cheque for the donation to TACC. Doreen and Sam had a fantastic night and were lucky enough to receive the cheque for TACC from Jim Leighton.
We would like to say a massive thanks to all the team from 42 in 42 for the fantastic donation of £1845, you should be so proud of your achievement not just completing the challenge but for the amazing amount of money you raised. Doreen and Sam would also like to say a special thanks to you for your hospitality on the evening.
The 42 in 42 lads were delighted with the support received from TACC along the way, with some of our ambassadors/trustees meeting them at various stadiums.
