When I first heard of the Tartan Army, I did not know it had anything to do with football supporters. A friend of mine asked me as a local Czech guy to give a hand in the charity work and I couldn't say no, perhaps because I haven't been much involved in helping others before.

My role was to contact a small organisation in Prague helping others to which the amount of money donated by Tartan Army (15k pounds!!!) would make a big difference.

What a surprise for me to hear that people who donate this kind money are actualy football fans!

I have lots of respect for what you managed to do here. The Strom organisation spent the money on building a new playground for seriously disabled autistic children. During the presentation day, I could see the kids actually using it and it felt great. To me, this is an unprecedent example of good will and the way to go for sport supporters!!! And yes, it felt great to be small part of this.
